Axle Load survive the Queensland's flood

Truck Scales

[Sassy_Social_Share] You might all remember the 2011 floods that devastated south eastern parts of queensland. Amidst all the devastation Airtec Corporation was there to help our valued customers get back on the road. After the waters subsided we reached out to customers in the affected areas and offered to check over their Airtec Corporation OBM systems.

Let us tell you about how we were able to help out Jamie whose AXL gauges ended up being completely submerged in flood waters. Once Jamie had access to the vehicle and checked it over he tested our AXL gauges at the Lusty Factory and they seem to work ok. We then requested for him to return the units to us so we could inspect and check them over. Although these units had been fully submerged in water, oil, and solvents; we found that there was no damage to the internal electronics and the axle load gauges are still functioning ok. Airtec returned the gauges to Jamie to install on a replacement prime mover and trailer.

We are constantly making improvements to the way our products are made to ensure our customers receive quality Australian owned products that they can rely on. Our digital truck scales are built tough but not always tough enough to withstand natural disasters.
